Advised on global marketing & sales strategies, branding, and organization.

Gold Key Resorts • Virginia Beach, VA • 2005 to 2008 President (Three Year Contract) Head of $50 million, 240 employee market-leader specializing in resort development, marketing & sales, financial management and resort ops. Increased timeshare sales from $31 million in a highly seasonal market. Directed new online/social media marketing programs. Reengineered the company.

Marriott Vacation Club Int'l, Inc • Orlando, FL • 1994 to 1996 and 1999 to 2005 VP-Product Development/Sr. Dir.-Customer Acquisition, CRM, and Web Development Utility executive for a $1.6 billion, 8000-employee division of Marriott International and industry leader with 60 resorts in 38 locations throughout the world. Led strategic projects for customer databases, CRM (Siebel), web, email, and social media marketing. Led the development of privacy policies across the entire company. Instrumental in revenue growth from $150 million to $1.6 billion.

Wilson Resort Management Co • Orlando, FL • 1996 to 1999 Senior VP – Operations Senior leader at this 1600-employee resort with $250 million annual revenue. Led major process redesign initiatives across all operating departments including development of a financial Oracle database and reporting system, operating systems and telecommunications. P&L accountability for a 120-person staff and $10 million in expenses. Restructured all cable, telephone, and satellite systems.

Four Seasons USA • Lake Ozark, MO • 1992 to 1994 Chief Operating Officer (COO) Primary leader for a large, multi-product, land development company with 7,000 acres. Led a successful aggressive turnaround - rebuilding sales and accelerating growth. Full P&L accountability for two operations with 145 associates and all business functions including all IT.

Disney Development Company & Disney Vacation Club, Inc • Orlando, FL • 1990 to 1992 Chief Information Officer (CIO) Technical leader for Disney Development Company, managing a team of 80 located in the US and France supporting hotel construction projects valued at $2.5 billion for Euro-Disney. Developed first mixed network of Macs and PCs. Implement multiple accounting systems, including new G/L and linked them globally. Key executive on the leadership team that created a major new business, the Disney Vacation Club. Developed and led strategic business plans, operating system development, and complex negotiations with attorneys to facilitate regulatory registration.

Resort Condominiums International • Indianapolis, IN • 1984 to 1990 Vice President-MIS (CIO) As an Executive Committee member, led the redevelopment, redesign, and programming of the core operating systems, creating one of the first global, real-time-operating computer networks, including the first data network between the U.S. and Mexico. Led the largest AT&T account in the Mid-west including ACDs, Outbound dialers, and large switches (1,400 pair of fiber optic lines). Wrote one of the first Methodologies for insuring on time and within budget delivery of large system implementations.

United Airlines • Chicago, IL • 1968 to 1984 Senior Manager, Asst. to President Food Division, Chairman Operating Performance Committee (standing) Member of small team that created the Apollo Reservation System (now called Galileo). Helped form a new Division (Food Service), including creating and leading the development of a fully integrated Accounting and Management Information System (FAMIS). Led the Operating Performance Committee, reporting directly to the CEO, in achieving the highest three years of operating performance in the airline's history, including establishing a global "big data" performance tracking system. Electronically consolidated 13 reservations offices and jointly developed a variety of marketing programs, including Mileage Plus.
